Available on the Max plan. Only Organization Owners and Admins can change these settings.
Enforcement policies let you turn your templates and tracking parameters from suggestions into requirements. When a policy is on, Members must follow it. For example, with template enforcement on, they can only create QR codes from an approved template. This keeps large teams on-brand and keeps your analytics clean.
You’ll find these controls in Company Settings → Permissions.
QR Codes
Enforce Template Usage requires Members to start from an approved template when they create a QR code, rather than styling one from scratch.
When enforcement is on, set the Enforcement Scope:
- Enforce for all Non-Admins applies the policy to everyone with the Member role.
- Enforce for specific users lets you search by name or email and apply the policy to individuals instead.
Restrict bulk creation to admins hides the bulk option from Members, so only Owners and Admins can bulk-create QR codes.
Shortlinks
Restrict bulk creation to admins does the same for shortlinks: only Owners and Admins can bulk-create them, and Members won’t see the bulk option.
Parameters
Require a parameter selection for every new link forces users to pick a tracking parameter preset whenever they create a QR code or shortlink, so nothing goes out untagged.
Automatically enforce lowercase parameter text converts all tracking parameter values to lowercase. This prevents split reporting caused by inconsistent casing, such as Summer versus summer.
Link Hubs
Enforce Template Usage requires Members to use an approved template when they create a Link Hub, the same way it works for QR codes.
What Members See
When a policy is active, the restricted option is either required or hidden for affected Members. For example, with template enforcement on, the design step starts from an approved template; with bulk creation restricted, the bulk button doesn’t appear. Owners and Admins are unaffected unless you scope a policy to include them.
