Available on the Max plan
If you need to create dozens or hundreds of branded short links for a campaign, bulk creation imports them from a CSV in one go.
Before You Start
Bulk creation needs a custom domain enabled for the URL Shortener. Set that up first if you haven’t (see Custom Domains).
Create a Batch
- Click URL Shortener in the sidebar, then Create Shortlink.
- Switch to the Bulk tab.
- Enter a Batch Name so you can find the group later (for example, “Spring Campaign Links”).
- Download the CSV template if you don’t have one. The required columns are:
- Name: the display name of each shortlink.
- Destination URL: where each shortlink points.
- Drop the filled CSV into the upload area, or click to browse. SnapGlyph will preview the entries.
- Click the create button to confirm. The button shows the row count it’s about to create (for example, Create 247 Shortlinks).
The new shortlinks appear grouped under your batch name on the Shortlinks page, where you can edit, copy, or delete them like any other shortlink.
Tips
- File size is capped at 2MB, so very large lists may need to be split into a few CSVs.
- Each row is checked for a valid destination URL before the batch is created. Invalid rows are flagged in the preview.
- Maximum entries per batch depends on your plan; the upload tool will tell you if a file is over the limit.
