Password-Protecting Your Link Hub

Lock a Link Hub behind a password so only people with the password can see the links.

Available on Pro and Max plans

If a Link Hub is for a private audience, like a client roster or an internal team, you can lock it behind a password. Visitors need to enter the password before they see any of the links.

Important

The password protects the hub page itself, not the destinations the links point to. Anyone who already has a direct link URL can still open it without the password. Use this feature to gate discovery of your links, not access to the underlying pages.

Turn On Password Protection

  1. Open your Link Hub in the builder.
  2. Go to the Settings tab.
  3. Toggle on Password Protection.
  4. Enter a Password. It needs to be at least 6 characters.
  5. Save the hub.

What Visitors See

When someone opens the hub URL, they get an unlock screen. After entering the correct password, they see the full hub for the rest of their session. The password is checked once per visitor, not on every link click.

Changing or Removing the Password

  • To change the password, open Settings and type a new one in the Password field.
  • If you leave the field blank when saving, the existing password stays in place.
  • To remove protection, toggle Password Protection off and save.

Tip

Pick a password that’s easy for your audience to type. Long random strings are hard on phones.
