Why Upgrade?
Each plan tier includes more capabilities:

The shortlink cap is the one most people miss. Starter includes 5 shortlinks total, not 5 per month, so if you are using the URL shortener regularly that limit usually arrives before any other one does.
How to Upgrade
Step 1: Go to Subscription Settings
- Click Subscription in the sidebar
Step 2: Choose Your Plan
Review the available plans and billing periods, then select the plan you want.
Step 3: Complete Payment
- Enter your payment details (or use existing card on file)
- Review the amount to be charged
- Click Subscribe to confirm
Step 4: Access New Features
Your new features are available immediately after payment:
- Additional QR code slots
- New menu options appear in sidebar
- API access enabled (Pro, Growth, or Max)
- Team features become available (Pro, Growth, or Max)
Upgrading from Free Trial
If you’re on a free trial:
- Go to Subscription settings
- Click Upgrade on your preferred plan
- Complete payment
- Your trial converts to a paid subscription
- No data is lost. All your QR codes stay in place
Prorated Billing
When upgrading mid-billing cycle:
- You’re charged immediately for the difference
- Credit is applied for unused time on your current plan
- Your billing date stays the same
Example: If you upgrade from Starter ($1/month) to Pro ($5/month) halfway through your billing period:
- Credit for remaining Starter time: ~$0.50
- Pro cost for remaining period: ~$2.50
- Amount charged: ~$2.00
Upgrading Team Plans
Upgrading adds more team seats:

After upgrading, go to Team settings to invite additional members.
After Upgrading
Once upgraded:
- Refresh the page if features don’t appear immediately
- Check your email for confirmation receipt
- Explore new features in the sidebar
- Invite team members if you upgraded to Pro, Growth, or Max
Troubleshooting
Payment failed
- Verify your card details are correct
- Make sure the payment method has sufficient funds
- Try a different payment method
- Contact your bank if issues persist
Features not appearing
- Log out and log back in
- Clear your browser cache
- Contact support if issues persist
Wrong plan selected
If you accidentally upgraded to the wrong plan:
- Contact support within 24 hours
- We can adjust your subscription
- Refunds are processed for the difference
