You can sign in to SnapGlyph with email and password, or with Google or GitHub. Linking a provider lets you sign in with one click, and is a useful fallback if you ever forget your password.
Before You Start
The email on the provider needs to match the email on your SnapGlyph account.
Link a Provider
- Open your profile menu in the sidebar and pick User Settings.
- Go to the Connected Apps tab.
- Find the provider in the Linked Accounts section.
- Click Link next to Google or GitHub. You’ll be sent to the provider to authorize SnapGlyph.
- Approve the request and you’ll come back to SnapGlyph with the account linked.
Unlink a Provider
- In the same section, click Unlink next to a linked provider.
- Confirm in the dialog.
If a provider is your only way to sign in (no password, no other linked provider), SnapGlyph will block the unlink and prompt you to set a password or link another provider first.
Tip
Linking a provider and setting a password gives you two ways to sign in. If one ever breaks, the other still works. Unlinking a provider doesn’t delete your account or its data.
